We wanted to create this pop art styled MonroeInspired pin because we believe she was a true icon and an inspiration to so many men and women. She was a trendsetting forward-thinking empowered woman, and for her time she was a figurehead for a generation of people.
Marilyn Monroe was an American actress model and singer. In the 1950s and the 1960s she was easily one of the most popular sex symbols. More than half a century later she still remains one of the world’s biggest icons. Marilyn was one of the first centerfolds in Playboy magazine and also won a golden globe for a movie called Some Like it Hot in 1959.
